 انبثقت فلسفتنا التربوية واشتقت أهدافنا من طبيعة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وبهذا فإن المبادئ التربوية والإسلامية هي مرتكزات تبنى عليها برامج المدرسة حيث  يتم تشجيع الطلاب المسلمين كي يطبقوا تعاليم دينهم ضمن النظام التعليمي الأمريكي الحديث في جو من الاعتدال الفكري والديني.  وباختصار فإننا نؤمن بالتالي:

• التربية السلوكية مسؤولية مشتركة وتقع بالدرجة الأولى على البيت، ثم على المدرسة والمجتمع والوسائل الإعلامية.

• لاتقف عملية التعليم عند حد معين بل  تستمر منذ نشأة الإنسان وحتى وفاته كما علمنا الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.

• تقديم البرامج الدولية المتطورة التي تلبي احتياجات الطلاب وتعدهم لاستكمال  دراساتهم الجامعية.

• توفير الوسائل التعليمية المناسبة لتطوير قدرات الطلاب العقلية والروحية والاجتماعية و الجسدية في جو يعمه الاحترام دون تمييز أو تفرقة بسبب اللون أو الدين وذلك وفق تعاليم ديننا الإسلامي الحنيف.

•  توفير البرامج الأكاديمية والترفيهية والفنية والرياضية  و الاجتماعية التي تساعد في بناء الشخصية القوية الصالحة.

• توفير الفرص أمام  جميع العاملين للاستمرار بتطوير قدراتهم  ومهاراتهم.

The core of our philosophy has been derived from the basic pillars of the U.A.E. society and from the General Objectives of the National Educational Policy.  

The uniqueness of Dubai National School is through having Islamic beliefs and practices as essential elements in its programs.  The Muslim students are encouraged to practice the Islamic faith within the context of the modern American educational system.   They are continuously instructed to have a spirit of religious tolerance.  In brief we believe that:

• Moral Education is primarily the responsibility of parents, then the school, the community and the media.

• Education is a continuous process as stipulated by our Prophet Muhammad. 

• Our international educational programs should be well organized to provide disciplined and challenging education which will prepare students for post high school opportunities.

• “ Each child, as a unique individual, regardless of his/her ethnic background,  should enjoy special protection, be given opportunities and facilities to develop physically, mentally, socially and spiritually in a healthy and appropriate manner in conditions of freedom and dignity” as stipulated in our Islamic religion.  

• Academic emphasis should be matched and balanced with moral values, athletics and arts. 

• Providing continuous opportunities for staff development is essential.

• تهيئة البيئة التعليمية المناسبة وتقديم  وسائل تعليم متطورة مما يساعد الطلاب على اكتشاف وتطوير قدراتهم ضمن أجواء تربوية مرحة وممتعة.

• تقديم البرامج والمناهج الدراسية الملائمة والتي يتم تطويرها وتحديثها سنوياً لإعداد الطلاب لاستكمال دراستهم الجامعية.

• تقديم البرامج المناسبة التي تساعد على تعلم وتطبيق السلوك الإسلامي الكريم للطلاب المسلمين وتهيئــــة الأجواء لمساعدتهم  على الاحتفاظ بالقيم الأصيلة مثل حب الوطن ، الأمانة ، الإخلاص ، الاعتدال، التسامح وحب مساعدة الاخرين .

• تشجيع الطلاب على الاعتناء بالصحة الجسدية والنفسية والاهتمام  بالأغذية الصحية.

• مساعدة الطلاب على فهم محيطهم وتشجيعهم على الحفاظ على بيئتهم وموارد الوطن الطبيعية.

• تقديم البرامج والدورات والمحاضرات وورشات العمل التي تساعد العاملين على التطوير الذاتي في شتى الميادين التكنولوجية والتربوية والعلمية وحثهم على الاستمرار في ذلك. 

• Provide suitable learning environment and facilities to help students discover and develop their capabilities.

• Provide appropriate and updated educational programs to prepare students for their further education.

• Provide proper educational materials and programs to enable Muslim students maintain their Islamic values and practices such as patriotism, faithfulness, honesty, forgiveness, respect for all, tolerance and the love to assist the needy.

• Encourage students to care for their social, mental and physical health.

• Help students appreciate and preserve their country’s natural resources and environment.

• Provide all staff members with opportunities such as seminars, workshops and lectures to enrich and develop their capabilities in technology, education and other aspects.
